Philly vs All Youse Guys

Philadelphia Trip pt 1

Philadelphia is a hardworking, blue collar, proud to be an American type of city. They embrace the past and a bit timidly the future as well. The die hard fan base for the Eagles, Phillies and Flyers is legendary. I love a good sports town, it creates a great sense of community when the season hits. The diversity in culture and tradition here definitely helps create this amazing food scene. More on that later. The people are friendly overall just don’t be an idiot. All in all Philadelphia feels like a dream to me. Growing up about a 1hr and 30 mins away I never really bothered. I knew all this great stuff was here, why didn’t I come more often? I guess was always more intrigued with the mystic of New York City also it being closer to me by 30 mins. I took Philly for granted at the end of the day and being back after many years it fills me with nostalgia and a ton of pride to be from around these parts. Never Again.
