Taipei 101

Not only is Taiwan considered the heart of Asia but Taipei is a jewel on that said heart. An incredible city where time old and new shake hands and isn’t afraid to share a meal with new arrivals as well. Taipei is an industrial city with deep, deep roots in tradition and respect for what came before. A precariously placed island that always seems to be protected by some type of ancient magical force. I say it’s protected by the love of its fiercely proud and dedicated population 🇹🇼

Sunday Special

The Sunday Special is for everyone. Whether you believe or don’t or in what it simply does not matter. I feel religion nowadays is being used a passive aggressive tool. An excuse for individuals and groups to resort to extreme behavior with minimal consequences. Or maybe this could a nostalgic piece of work? The days where religion was cruel but some what still innocent. My friends the classic Sunday bacon and eggs days truly are gone.

The Rainbow Girls

An ode to the scourge of San Francisco’s Union Square in the late 2000’s. A time where every shop was united together against a common cause regardless the type of business they dealt with. They were truly a precursor of what ultimately came to be now as flash robberies in malls and other brick and mortars. I was a Manager at one of these shops at the time and dealt with these maniacs on a daily basis 😂 Looking back now I realize those were some real hard but lovely times.
